My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Anime Premieres in July 2025

The My Dress-Up Darling stage event at Aniplex's AnimeJapan 2025 booth today officially confirmed that the previously announced anime sequel is a second season that will air in July 2025 . A special 'memories' video and an illustration were unveiled to commemorative the announcement. My Dress-Up Darling Memories Trailer My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Illustration RELATED: My Dress-Up Darling Anime Sequel Officially Confirms 2025 Release Based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, Keisuke Shinohara ( BLACKFOX ) directed the My Dress-Up Darling anime's first season at studio CloverWorks, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita ( The Elusive Samurai ), character designs by Kazumasa Ishida and music by Takeshi Nakatsuka ( The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody ). Crunchyroll streams the series and describes the story: Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he's gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world.
