GeGeGe no Kitaro 2025 Stage Play Releases Teaser Trailer

Toei Animation's official YouTube channel has started streaming a teaser trailer for GeGeGe no Kitaro 2025 , the upcoming new show of the stage play adaptation of Shigeru Mizuki's horror manga series GeGeGe no Kitaro . The clip features Yoshihiko Aramaki (Yamanbagiri Kunihiro in the Touken Ranbu stage plays), who reprises his role as the protagonist Kitaro from the first show. GeGeGe no Kitaro 2025 Teaser Trailer As part of the project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mizuki, the first show of the stage play series performed in the summer of 2022. In addition to Yoshihiko Aramaki , voice actor Sumire Uesaka (Hayase Nagatoro in DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO ) is also confirmed to reprise her role as Neko Kusume. Meanwhile, voice actor Akio Otsuka (Batou in Ghost in the Shell ) is newly cast as Nezumi Otoko in place of the first show's Takashi Fujii. Other cast members include Keisuke Ueda , Ryota Hirono , Rurika Miya And Yukjo Asano . Yasuyuki Tsustumi (Rock Musical Bleach) serves as writer and director. The stage play GeGeGe no Kitaro 2025 is scheduled to perform at the Meijiza theater in Tokyo from August 2 to 6, then at the Shin-Kabukiza theater in Osaka from August 21 to 25.
