Mizuki Yamamto and Chiaki Kuryama play the main characters in the story, Ayano Okubo and Akari Hirayama, respectively. Shimura's manga works, such as Sweet Blue Flowers (2009) and Wandering Son (2011), were adapted into anime series in the past.
