A date is officially in place for the second of three Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime films. As revealed during a stage event at this weekend’s AnimeJapan 2025, the second movie will open in Japan on November 7. An updated video was released along with the premiere date news. Nijigasaki High School Idol Club OVA . Based on original work by Hajime Yatate and Kurako Kiminosa, Tomoyuki Kawamura directs the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club films at animation studio Sunrise. Jin Tanaka provides the script for the films, Takumi Yokota provides the character designs and Naoki Endou provides the music. Crunchyroll currently streams Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and describes the story: Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara.
