In just over two weeks, the latest installment in the long-running Mobile Suit Gundam mecha anime series is coming our way. Today, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX shares a fresh new key visual, spotlighting Macha and her hat-wearing Haro. Check out the new visual, complete with glimpses of the title robot: RELATED: Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX TV Anime Premieres April 8 Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is co-produced at studio khara, which handled the Evangelion movie series, and Bandai Namco Filmworks sub-brand Sunrise, which has worked on the Gundam series since the first TV anime series in 1979. Kazuya Tsurumaki, who co-directed the Rebuild of Evangelion film series including the final installment Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time , serves as director, alongside series composition writer Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anno ( Evangelion ), character designer Take ( Pokémon ) and mechanical designer Ikuto Yamashita ( Evangelion ). The TV anime is set to premiere on NTV in Japan on April 8. GKIDS released Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- in North America on February 28, 2025, describing the anime as such: Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle. Under the entry name "Machu," she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji. Now their world is about to enter a new era.
