Along with an official trailer and English language key art, a streaming premiere date has been revealed for The Roses of Versailles , a 2025 theatrical anime film based on the classic historical fiction manga by Riyoko Ikeda. The feature will debut on Netflix in worldwide markets beginning on April 30. The Rose of Versailles Subtitled Trailer Ai Yoshimura directs The Rose of Versailles at animation studio MAPPA. Tomoko Komparu provides the screen play, Mariko Oka provides the character designs and Hiroyuki Sawano and KOHTA YAMAMOTO provide the music. Udon Entertainment also publishes an English language version of the original manga.
